On Monday, May 27, 2024, SCI welcomed 50 students from Vilai Waiwan Senior School, Ban Laem Thong Community, for a visit. The purpose was to showcase how SCI integrates business operations with environmental care and to introduce the organization's CSR initiatives under the theme “SCI’s Care for Community Sustainability.” Students also had a chance to meet nurses from Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital Sriracha to receive basic health care knowledge and information about influenza.

The activities included tours of the circular economy bases, such as the bio-fermented water base using lipase enzymes from orange peels, the Recycle Everyday by Recycle Day Application project, and the food waste converter that turns waste into organic soil within 24 hours.

Additionally, the students participated in making “lemongrass mosquito repellent spray” from leftover alcohol, a product based on the circular economy concept. Everyone received organic soil, a CE Product from the company, to take home and use for planting.

This visit not only provides students with an opportunity to see the company's efforts in community and environmental care, but also enhances knowledge and enjoyment for all participants. This aligns with SCI's vision of creating shared value and expanding connections to nearby communities for the sustainability of society.
